Michael L. Glass, MD
Michael was born and raised in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Oklahoma, his medical school and residency at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine in Oklahoma City. After moving to Edmond, Oklahoma in 1980, he started practice and has served the community of Edmond for 38 years.
Surgical Expertise
After delivering several thousand deliveries in 27 years, he trained in robotic surgery and restricted his practice to honing his skills in the art of minimally invasive surgery using the DaVinci robot, and also trained over 300 other surgeons in several states regarding robotic surgical procedures and applications.
He established the Robotics Surgical service at Lakeside Women’s Hospital and most recently served as the Director of Robotics at the OU Edmond Medical Center. It was the extent of his commitment to doing robotic surgeries and training others in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri, as well as outreach to hospitals in Arkansas and Texas that made it difficult to continue an obstetrical career. But the opportunities to teach offset his love of delivering babies.

Special Interests
Currently, Dr. Glass is continuing his career with robotics, SottoPelle Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement, and has added sleep screening and fitness and weight management. He studied Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement with Dr. Tutera and placed his first pellets in 2015. True physical and mental health relies on all three parts of this triad of hormones, quality sleep, and fitness and weight control.
